Short poses and yes, it was refreshing. I had already drawn quite a bit, so I used the opportunity to experiment.

Thank you. Actually it was only a two hour session. I only wished, I could have the last one much larger. It’s a tiny oil in the size of a trading card.

Lovely! They’re interesting paints. It always takes me a bit to get used to them, but then I love painting with them.

They’re completly different. Imho they sit between watercolor and gouache. The lifting of layers can be beneficial, when you get used to it.

There are some really good ones online. This Wednesday I’m most likely to participate in another one. In person still is best and I have get back to these soon. Still the future is uncertain. Thanks Dominik I certainly will get some advice from you. I have a few commitments right now but it would be fun to get back into it. I took a figure drawing course at university in the late 70’s and really enjoyed it. But that was it. I will be in touch in the next couple weeks hopefully.
