What? No reference photos at all? Awesome work, Charlie! I love the expression on your face showing that you were aiming at something. I have terrible aim with things flying through the air, but as you said, I don’t care to be good at those things. I’ll take felt and a glue gun any day!! I’ve enjoyed seeing the double versions of your Doodl…[Read more]

OMG, now you MUST write your perspective of every fairytale. Your story is fantastic, Charlie! Love the apple painting, by the way 😂

Awesome way to look at things – How do you know and LOVE this person? I will remember that! I, too, shopped in the husky section as a kid, which always seemed degrading to me as a girl, and I grew up painfully shy. Although I am still “husky,” I’ve grown to love myself as I am. I laughed when you said you looked chubby in a photo, but I sure…[Read more]

Love your analysis of long-time friend, Charlie. Don’t be heart-broken because, who knows, one day there might be a giant Doodlewash convention. Barring that, know my heart is full from “meeting” you and all my Doodlewash friends! 😘

Even though many of us draw a bird on the 8th of every month, today is the actual “holiday.” Gosh, Charlie, it seems like forever ago that we all were connected by WordPress only, but look what has blossomed over the years. I know you say “we” made it happen, but you led us with your innovative ways and we happily followed. Thanks for the awesome…[Read more]

What a sweet self-portrait, Charlie. At that age I’m sure you never thought about inspiring so many people to create art, but I’m thankful that you have and continue to do so. Looking forward to seeing your creative process! 💖 🎨 😍🥰

For me, romantic love has changed over the past 30+ years of my marriage, and it is interesting to note the changes along the way. It boils down to cherishing, respecting, and wanting to make one another’s lives better each day. I feel blessed to be living in this awesome love! You spelled it out well, Charlie! 😘💖🥰

Awesome story, Charlie! Isn’t it amazing how the stars align just so – and we meet our forever significant others? Wow, I can’t imagine living in all those cities as I have lived in the same city all my life. However, now we do travel a lot but always are happy to return home to our own cozy bed. Yes, I remember the Philippe and Phineas story. So…[Read more]

My brother-in-law likes to tinker with “hardware art” and actually made me a fidget spinner. I love it because, first of all, he made it, and secondly, because I find it calming and peaceful, and it helps me zone out when I get too stressed. Is that what fidget spinners are supposed to do? Great Doodlewashes, Charlie! Off topic, have you ever wri…[Read more]
