Kim. Think positive. Your doing well. Enjoy the moment. I just put mine up first time to-night. I am 77 young. I am here to have fun and I love to have been told about this site. I dont even know if I am posting here. How long have you been here.
I think I’ve been on the site three years. I’m 64 and started painting about 7 years ago. Watercolor was something I always wanted to do so I took a few on-line classes. I do enjoy the process but putting myself out there can be hard. I finally got confident and put two pieces in a raffle show for the local art association back in the winter…it was very painful that no one was showing any interest in my work so I stopped painting until this summer. I feel like a have a lot to learn. Thanks for your encouragement and I’m eager to have you share some of you work as well.
My oldest son is an artist. At first it was all gun ho. He did every kind of art going. Then as years come along. Other artists come in from University. So dont give up. As long as you enjoy as he does. That all that matters. Make friends. This is a great site. I met an Artist years ago. She started out like us. Now her art pieces . Is masterpeces. She is from England.She is the kindest, loving person you would know. Her ocean pictures, her dog pictures are out of this world . So hang in there. I am enjoying the ride. It was my son who got me to be interested in art. And I will never come close to his art. He does cartoons as well. airbrushing. He has been up the ladder as far as he can go in business. And he has a gentle spirit. What can I say. Keep going girl. Each day is a new day. The yesterday has fled.
