“The Chameleon” – 9 x 12″ on Arches 140# CP (not) paper. I think this is my most complicated watercolor to date. Was experimenting on ways to create the scales texture without painting each individual scale. I had to work very slowly w/ a 3 step process. ChameleonETSY

This is truly amazing! I keep trying to come up with a good method for the ticking coloration in some animal fur. Sort of the same challenge – what to paint and what not to paint. You’ve done such a fabulous job!
