Warming up the paints for 2018 World Water Color Month. It’s been months since I painted. Decided to add in some wording as this challenge continues. 36301768_10156166193438859_6335107822803484672_n

Day 4 and July 4th! Prompt: Family Moments. As a kid, our Summer holidays were at a cottage my grandparents owned on Big Star Lake in Michigan. A trip into Baldwin to visit Jones was always on the agenda and a mint chocolate chip cone was always on my agenda. Yummy!

Awww, too cute! I love the way you painted the fabric Kerry! and of course the dog is adorable!

Thank you Julia! In all honesty, I’d intended to go back to the fabric and do some more, but it got too dark. Perhaps it’s a good job I didn’t 🙂

D01 of #worldwatercolormonth. “SUNNY DAYS”.
In a tropical country like the Philippines whenever summer comes, the temperature could get really high and Halo-halo is probably the most sought for refreshment/desert. It’s a mixture of shaved ice, added with various sweetened fruits, jelly, ice cream, leche flan and milk. IMG_20180701_190446_420

Hi, I”m new to social media. How do I post my watercolors for the July 2018 World Watercolor Month?
thanks-
Hi Pat, Where you put your question into this news feed is the same place I use to put my artwork. The same place where it asks “what’s new Pat”…There’s a square icon that has a mountain looking image and a round image that could be a sun or a moon in that square icon. That’s where you click on it to the square icon changes color and there…[Read more]

Day 350…veggies
I’m not sure why, but the first thing I thought of was tomatoes still on the vine. Tomatoes aren’t necessarily my favorite veggie. I’ll eat them, but I don’t go out of my way to find them. And yet oddly enough, I’m rather good at growing tomatoes, and possibly at painting them. The more I loon at this painting, the more it…[Read more]

Day 349… Bicycle
I remember as a kid riding my bike everywhere. It didn’t matter how far it was, it always seemed do-able. Lol, these days however, even riding around the block seems like a major undertaking. But I still remember bike rides fondly, even if I really don’t want to actually go do it.

My nephew was fearful at first and didn\'t want to look out but eventually was able to relax a little more and sort of enjoy the adventure. He was around 9 years old I think. It was a smooth ascent up into the air, a smooth and beautiful glide throughout the adventure and a gentle landing. People are positioned below and the pilot is in contact with the tracking crew to be able to pinpoint our landing. This should be a huge plus on your to do bucket list. Looking at the pictures, I want to do it again! Balloon flightBalloon prepLinda Young posted an updateCharlie, Here\'s the pictures of the balloon ride I took with my nephew. Wow! This guy is fabulous!
-
Thank you Sandra; I know I have a painting of my pond with red comet and shubunkin goldish but couldn’t find it.
-
-
Beautiful! don’t some crabs eat little fish?
-
I guess they probably do, but being a bottom feeding crustacean, they probably only feed on dead ones. I don’t think they’d be fast enough to catch ones that swim. 😉
-
-
I love this guy!!

Glad you like him. This blue crab now lives forever on paper and has a new home too on someone’s wall.
