    • I suspect it’s a timing issue and that it works better with certain papers according to their absorbency. It does create a spectacular effect.

    Jean Haines sliding salt technique. I agree with another member about the sliding salt technique. Although many members gave advice it wasn’t specific to the sliding salt technique. If anyone has tried succesfully this (see Jean’s book World of Watercolor, pg 65) technique, please let us know how you accomplished it. Thanks in advance.
