Wasn’t excited about doing an airplane for yesterday’s prompt, but then came across this new stamp when scrolling instagram. I started out being meticulous in wanting to duplicate it and soon realized that was not going to happen so it is sloppy. Convinced myself to post it anyway this morning. View
For our optional World Watercolor Month prompt of “Round,” my mind immediately went to ice cream scoops. This is most likely because it’s really hot outside and a bit of ice cream sounds really good right about
That’s one thing I don’t like about the internet. By the time you’ve responded to all your comments and made all your own comments, and all those little side-trips to watch videos and find reference photos – suddenly you’re scrambling to get all the other things done even though it felt like it took no time at all!
Ooh does that look good as it is hot here too! As far as time disappearing that is what retirement is like so get ready for it. It is great and you learn to just go with the flow and keep the “have to get done” items to a minimum. Don’t over comment! In my world Art is a priority. 😊
Super hot here, too. I like the heat as long as I can go swimming, which I did today. Your painting on the ice cream scoop is spectacular! You truly are the master of reflective material. As for ice cream, I eat some chocolate ice cream every day, although in recent years it’s become “light” ice cream. It’s by far my favorite food.
The rabbit hole that is YouTube can suck a person in in 2020 and spit them back out in 2021! I have learned some crazy things from YouTube and relived parts of my misspent musical youth, but I’ve wasted a lot of time probably better spent reading, cooking, or painting. Oh well, there is always next month.
Doodlewash Prompt. Round. Did you know that male ring-tailed lemurs settle their differences by stink fighting? They drag their tails through their scent glands and wave them until one of the lemurs gives up and runs away! #WorldWatercolorMonth @Hahnemühle_USA #ZebraPen_USA #ZebraAmbassador #PostcardsForTheLunchbag Ring Tail Lemur- Zebra Ze…[Read more]
My name is Jitka Zajíčková, I live and create in Prague, Czech Republic. I’ve been painting since my childhood and it was always something that made me happy. When choosing my profession I had to choose some
Jitka, beautiful art you create, my family is from Italy on my father side, I am from Puerto Rico but live in Indiana USA… Prague is one of the places I want to visit some day, it’s one of the most famous art center of the Old World… Thank you for sharing your art with Us….. “Přeji krásný týden”, I hope that it’s well written, have a good week….
For our optional World Watercolor Month of “Fast” today, this was perfect timing as I had no time at all left to sketch. So we have a super speedy little doodle of a cheetah, which also happens to be the fastest
That is a great cheetah! You turned him just right and made the dust boil up so well that he indeed looks fast. As for me, I painted a fat bottom pear today from a live model I got at the grocery. I also have a russet one waiting to be painted. Since neither is ripe, I have time.
Second cheetah I’ve seen today, Charlie! Time’s certainly flying by, they’re telling me! I’ve managed to squeeze in a couple more watercolours, but I’ll post them later in the week. I’m trying to organise time a little better!
Another good watercolour from you, Charlie.
We make time for what we love! Your wonderful Cheetah is racing to the week finish line! Nothing planned, again this weekend. Slowly shutting us down. Groups of 10 now, down from 25. It is nice not to have to hurry up and go anywhere on the weekends. Now if only the neighbors family would go somewhere else! Haha!
Thanks so much, Marisela! 😃💕 I adore Mexican food! We just had some today for lunch and it was amazing. It’s a little family-owned restaurant and they separate the American “Mexican” from the authentic dishes. We always order the authentic… so good! And sending you much love… stay healthy and safe!
For our optional World Watercolor Month prompt of “Fruit,” the first thing that came to mind was a cold citrus drink. That, and the fact that it’s rather hot here, and cold is a most welcome notion. So, we have a
Oh now I really want some cherry lemonade! It isn’t really hot here, but it’s muggy and an ice-cold drink would definitely be welcome. I hope your foot heals up soon. Isn’t it a pain how much longer it takes than when we were younger?
Your cherry lemonade looks so good and refreshing!! I am a summer girl but I must admit as I get older the humidity is not my friend… But if I had that pitcher of lusciousness I would be fine LOL Have a great day!
Kool aide was our neighborhood drink. Out of aluminum glasses with ice was best. I’m winter we often had hot Tang which I loved! Now, like you, I mostly drink water. And though it’s not exactly a drink, I do like chocolate malts. I won’t get one this summer because of the virus and there is no way hubs will do a drive through for ice cream treats. I suppose I could make my own??? Seems like a lot of trouble.
