So, I took WindowSwap for a testdrive and created these nine quick and loose views out of the windows of total strangers. A42A5C26-EE99-45C0-985F-5066239BAD7C

My short video for January, also a quick flip through at the end.-
Great video, Dominik! Your line and wash drawings are better than ever!
-
Ohhh 😲 thank you. Maybe it’s refining tools and paper. Also practice doesn’t hurt either 😉

-
Wonderful video, Dominik! Especially love your ink and wash pages!!

this a a great group and I was wondering if someone can help me, I am eager to try urban sketching bu I am having trouble with drawing brickwork and tiled roofs on my house, should I try and draw all the brickwork and tiles
-
I’m not an expert in urban sketching, but in general, with complex detail of any kind, it’s best to suggest rather than try to replicate the exact detail. Let the viewer fill that in from their own knowledge and imagination.
-
Great, I will give it a go
-
-
Welcome Steve. Yes suggesting a few bricks and tiles here and there is usually more than sufficient.

Just an update to my post this morning. The new resident reptile poked his head out of the birdhouse to greet me this morning. Cheeky little fella. View
