Hi, Mia, this is a rather inexpensive journal from Michael’s called Artist Loft. It accepts watercolor, but if I make a mistake, there is NO correcting it. I was curious as to how far I could push the paper and learned that I cannot push it very far!
CONGRATS!! Can’t wait to see what you create with it! I’m going to have to go buy one soon so I can stop being jealous and see if there is a difference between their tube and pans. Qor is pretty awesome stuff.
I had been on a bit of a Douglas Adams kick and love the lines in the audiobook for the whale and petunias in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. It inspired this lovely watercolor piece. Wish I had seen this sooner. I just picked up a Jinhao fountain pen and it’s not at all what I was expecting. I’ll be looking into Lamy pens very soon. I’m a huge fan of sepia and knowing I can refill my own pen is a plus. I love the work you do with sepia inks. It really is stunning.
