I\'m a day late coming in with \"clock\" and not thrilled with how this one\'s coming (3/4 done - one more panel), but that\'s how it goes sometimes, doesn\'t it? Anyway, this one\'s called \"bacon.\" Bacon start_February02042021

Ornament being checked out by a nosey visitor. Glass probably wasn\'t a good idea with Morrie ;-). Ornament with Morrie nose12072020

I\'m not sure if you can tell from the painting, but the toy is a peppermint candy shaped thing with a Santa hat on top New Peppermint Toy12012020

Welp, this didn\'t turn out anything like I had planned (was going for a more blended color background), but here\'s the bookworm taking a break from his book. Morrie with book cropped

I\'m still working on the actual \"book\" one for today, but figured you need a book worm first, right? Anyone have any tips on doing dog noses? I\'m really struggling here and not sure why. Thanks! You all are wonderful! Morrie Book Worm cropped

So I followed Sandra\'s advice (thanks, Sandra!) and left more white space, and also went with outdoor instead of indoor light to try to get better with shadows. Of course, it helps having a lighter dog in the painting ;-). Morrie puppy on Remi cropped

OK, it started out with rosemary in the foreground before it became a blob as I struggled to figure out where the shadow should go. I don\'t know why I have such a hard time with light and shadows. Any tips? Morrie play bow with rosemary cropped

A day late for comfy, but here it is. Morrie is the only dog I\'ve ever known who wants a pillow for his head (not sure if you can tell he\'s on a bed). Comfy Morrie with pillow11142020

Needed some practice on the face, so here\'s my feather solution. Morrie doesn\'t need to be tickled, though, for that ever-present smile on his face. Morrie feather close up

Ran out of day yesterday between sketch and paint time on this one. Here\'s my solution for \"coat\" as I try to include Morrie in this month\'s prompt responses. Morrie with coat on_110720

This is Morrie, doing his elephant impersonation. I don\'t know how much I\'m going to be able to keep up this month but have decided to follow the prompts but try to make them all about Morrie. Have a project I\'m working on and need some practice painting him. Morrie the Elephant_110120

OK, a bit of a cheat here as this is one I did toward the end of last year. I\'ve failed in keeping up with daily challenges, but figured I\'d jump in with this one as it\'s relevant. Struggled with what colors to use for the inside of the peal and the banana fruit. Any suggestions on how to handle this better? Bananas JPEG_6

Going to try to stay up with at least some of the prompts this month. Here\'s my pine cone effort :-). Pinecones

Did you know what a hermaphrodite was until I needed something to illustrate a blog post that talks about gender recognition software now available for writers (it thought I was a man ;-)). Now I do and also discovered clown fish are categorized as such and a fun thing to paint. The same clown fish can be both male and female
