Oh so adorable! Love the way you the pattern from the strips to the stripes on the kitten.

Thanks, Sandra. That little kitty was our first cat and, as you can tell from the continuous feed computer paper strips, it was a long time ago. She was a real character and we still miss the little furball.

Such beautiful paper! So I cut them down into smaller pieces and made a small sketchbook. Today I decided to play around and made these wet-in-wet butterflies (DaVinci watercolors) and wrote a haiku: \'Fancy butterflies Just floating this way and that Color on the wind\' I love trying new things Has anyone else painted on this paper? Very nice blending effects, Teri. The butterflies look transparent and light. They are in flight, busy and beautiful.
-
Thanks so much Violeta, that is e actly what I was trying to do.😊
-
-
The transparency of these makes them look like they are floating in a breeze..I love that you make your own books…

Thanks Pamela. I have sewn a lot of sketchbooks but not so much now that I got my Zutter Bind it all. I just like to have Arches WC paper in them.

Love the butterflies and the bright colors.

Thanks Mary. Fast, easy and fun.

This is another of my sktchy watercolors. Since they are quick, little watercolors I just use inexpensive 6×8 paper; however, I don’t like the look of the grain of the paper when I’m finished. 🙂 babysktchy

Beautiful sketch! Sounds like an interesting place – I love touring old places like this. Here on the West Coast we don’t have too many places like this.
Thanks, I pass this for many years on the highway to my daughters and finally stopped to sketch it. Now I need to take a tour.
This is such a beautiful, illustrated, historical note. You should create a collection of them. I would enjoy looking through your architectural sketches and reading short notes added for each of them 🙂
Thanks so much for that vote of confidence. When “Small Town Sketchers” started I looked through my old sketches and was amazed at how many I had done. You’ll probably be seeing more now.
Nice work,love the history
Thanks Pamela. It’s so fun to look back at these.
Nice Teri! Love the history!
Thanks Mary. History does add a lot of meaning to the art.
Loved the note alongwith your painting Teri..! Looking forward to many such stories..
Thank you Anita. There will be more for sure. As I look through my sketches I realized how many there were 😄
