What a cutie! They are wonderful birds…do you have one? I couldn’t adopt such a small bird with all the animals at home. Went with the next size up: Lesser Sulfur crested cockatoo, and of course, she rules the house.
Thank you! I don’t have one now, but I used to. She was a bit on the crotchety side, but she was great. I’ve always loved cockatoos! They’re such characters. I’ve just always been afraid that a larger bird might cause some commotion with my cats.
I was going to post a photo of my cockatoo with one of my cats; the cat is lying down with paws tucked under, but her body language shows she is leaning away from Layla. Layla meantime has a rather “in your face” body posture toward the cat. Could not post because I do not see the picture icon which would prevent the photo from showing up in the newsfeed. We taught our two cats initially via a watergun; worked like a charm.
