Brilliant painting, Sandra. A Scottish adventurer, cycled the whole of the route, and climbed Denali and Aconcagua on the way. He did it in 268 days. Amazing book and TV series about it.

Weighing in around 3.75 g (0.132 oz), they look like a cross between a mouse and a kangaroo! I didn’t have a good reference photo, so it was cobbled from several different photos. You tackled a painting with difficult perspectives and did a great job with it! It’s hard to say where I’d place the horizon line without seeing the original but possibly where the stairs change from rounded to rectangle.

Sandra, I used the top line of the canal. The stairs were the hardest. I think I will try to sketch this a few more times just to practice. Thank you for your encouragement, it was a difficult. I felt everything turned out ok except the buildings.
