i find by far the best way to mask is to use Copydex glue – rubber based glue, (neat or slightly diluted) with a masking fluid pen. you can get VERY fine lines that way. Do you have any those acrylic brushes with the slanted ends? Especially smaller ones. You can dip the end into your masking fluid and draw a fine line with it. Afterwards, the fluid peels off nicely and you don’t end up ruining the bristles of a brush.
