I painted this from a photo I took at a friend’s house. She has the most beautiful gardens and a green thumb…I on the other hand do not so I enjoy her gardens when I can. #worldwatercolorgroup#virtualsketchwalk 10.28.17 img166

I have vivid childhood memories of visits to my great aunt in this house. However, when my mother saw it, she said it was nothing like my aunt’s house at all. She can’t remember us ever going to a house that looked like this, which makes me think that lots of my childhood memories actually occurred in books.
Day 38...I had an idea.
(I painted this yesterday, but hubby started a movie as I was finishing. So I went to go watch the movie while my painting dried. And obviously never got it posted last night. Whoopsie 🙂 )
Lol, I started with an idea and it took on a life of its own. I painted a really good sky with fluffy clouds and it looked really good and then the painting went and got all strange and things started appearing.
Not sure I had a lot of say in it but it was a lot of fun and I think it turned out kinda of cool. 🙂
