Did anyone else have one of these rocking horses as a kid? I got so excited about painting this that I kind of forgot what the challenge actually was, but a fond childhood memory popped up and Buttermilk and I hit the trail one more time.

Sandra, I had one too, and my hair was usually up in a ponytail (or pigtails). My horse was a golden shade with darker mane and tail. This painting could be used to sell these spring horses….It’s so good!

Sandra, I knew it was your painting before I saw the name…..I really need to use my Schminke more often, but I’m hoarding it as I only have a very small amount. What a perfect painting of a rhino! I love the brilliant eye which seems to be what I’m attracted to at first glance.
