I got to try out these watercolors also. I found that they blended well, had some separation and fun to them and I really liked them. I asked and was able to get a set of the pigment and lightfast ratings from them – it was pretty small for me to read. I first tried DaVinci with a couple of the Doodlewashed artist trios. I also picked three out I wanted to try for my own trio (mine is opera/pink phthalo turquoise, and DaVinci yellow). I love the Daniel Smith paints – my favorites are the Primateks. I’ve fallen hard for them this year. They take a little getting used to, but are so worth it.
