Day 305…breakfast
I like breakfast foods… okay I like some breakfast foods, but not first thing in the morning. I am not happy about the whole being vertical thing to begin with. So the thought of trying to eat too, is just adding insult to injury. Coffee on the other hand, is good anytime of the day. Especially when I have just stumbled out…[Read more]

It evokes a certain atmosphere for me, the old coffee houses of the west coast of the US, studying at the university coffee houses late in the evening or too early after a late night, stained napkin, ink and eraser bits.
A certain nostalgia.

We adopted a little, white dog 1 1/2 years ago. This scan doesn’t show the dirtiness of a little, white dog who loves the yard and the outdoors. He was naked when adopted but his hair grew in so thick. Now he gets groomed monthly so we can see his eyes. This is one sweet dog. DoodlebugMay2018. DirtyDog_atc

Ever since I was tiny, I have loved bunnies and rabbits. We saw a little, brown bunny in our yard last week. Yikes! Holes will break a person’s leg. He was much cuter than this watercolor. Hahnemuhle Cezanne watercolor paper, DaVinci watercolors. ATC size.

Cute frog! And the snail looks so realistic, as does the branch.

I used a rigger brush for the branch. It’s great for texture. The snail took a lot of masking fluid and patience.
