Purple. Well, Rhodonite and or Carmine mixed with Phthalo Green makes purple. And if you use Rhodonite, you get some really lovely granulation as well. I love granulating colors. They add such fun texture and depth.
So obviously I just played with color and texture last night. The prompt was “today I am grateful for…” and my answer is… the opportunity to play with color everytime I sit down to paint. Some days I want to paint a specific subject and some days I just want to watch colors mix on the paper. Lol, and some days I actually do sit and watch paint dry. 😁
