No one could ever accuse me of having a “green thumb”. In fact I’m pretty sure I hold the record for how quickly plants die in my care. And yet oddly enough, I am very good at growing tomatoes. But only tomatoes, everything else dies a sad wilty death. So sad, but at least I can paint plants and that helps. And every once in a while that plant ends up being tomatoes.
On a fun, “I had no idea that would work”, side note. I was at the dollar store yesterday and saw one of those silicone basting brushes. I saw it, kept going, it registered, backed up and took a good hard look at it. Hmmmm, that might make an interesting splatter tool. Yep I bought it. But last night, instead of using it to create splatter, I drug it through the splatter and all the wet paint.
Looks awesome!!! LOl leave it to us artist types to find creative uses for every day things. Happens a lot. But i do love my water brush its fun to help me add more color and dripability to my drips lol
