I bought the six new White Nights Pastel Watercolors and gave them a whirl. They’re very opaque, but beautiful colors. They practically glow on black paper. Unfortunately, I found that my technical pens – both fabric and plastic-nibbed – got clogged up and I’ve probably ruined them. Oh well. I’ll have to find other ways to use them – they’re too gorgeous to abandon! img833img834img835colors
I use the Uniball Signo White gel pen on my postcard paintings and have found it the best of the gel pens I’ve tried. White gouache or white Acryl Gouache is good, and more archival, too but must be applied with a brush.
