Doodlewash Prompt: Fruit. Did you know that animal species, such as this coati (aka Hog-Nosed Raccoon) that prefer fruit are called frugivores? #PostcardsForTheLunchbag #WorldWatercolorMonth @Hahnemühle_USA #ZebraPen_USA #ZebraAmbassador View
I love the glow you achieved on this Sandra! One of these days I will need to bite the bullet and buy a scanner. I just finished a 12 week and a 6 week online class so there went the art budget for a bit.😔
There are so many good ones out there and I don’t often watch the beginning classes. There is a section of tutorials from Doodlewash contributors (including myself), but I wouldn’t call it an actual class. (Click on ‘Resources’ and choose ‘Art Tutorials’). Also, there is a thread in the forums (https://doodlewash.com/forums/forum/watercolor-tutorials-and-resources/) where people have linked to videos they like. I’d recommend looking through these until you see a style you like and then look for classes or more videos from the same person. Watercolor is so flexible that you’ll probably find you want to concentrate on one style to begin with. Most of my learning came from books, because I learned before the internet was a twinkle in someone’s eye.
