Did you know that moths make cocoons, which are made of silk, but butterflies form a hardened skin called a chrysalis?
This is the last page in this ZigZag journal where I used the red & yellow gouache for backgrounds using a GelliArts printing plate . I used blues and a cooler red on the back pages. I’ll be posting work using those soon.

don’t paint plein air (from life) too often. I know I should because you get a better sense of perspective. I decided to paint the view from my living room window.
