#DoodlewashJanuary2021 Prompt: Yarn. In the forests of my imagination there exists a Spirit King, who watches over all the green and growing things. And doesn’t that sound like the beginning to a great yarn? Can you see some of the things the Spirit King is looking after? Lion, rabbit, woman, blackbird, giraffe, unicorn, 4 kinds of trees (or leaves), eyes, hearts, feathers and lots of strange viney-like things.

I’ll admit that I had a photo I’d taken earlier on my laptop, taken with a Zoom lens, so I could verify detail, but I tried not to reference it unless I was getting lost. Next […] View
Whoa this is fantastic! What a wonderful imagination you have, Sandra 😃
Many thanks, Zertab! There are some who might say it’s strange imagination, lol. But I have a lot of fun!
Brilliant, Sandra. So much to see when you zoom in.
Thank you, Gary!
Super!
Many thanks, Jessica!
Fantastic Sandra and I would love to hear the rest of the yarn.
Thank you, Victoria! Maybe one of these days I’ll write it!
I knew someone would mention yarn, as in a story. 🙂 Good work. Lots of detail. DoodleWorks.
Lol! And of course it was me who done it! Thank you, Everett!
Extraordinary!!!!!
Many thanks, Mary!
Incredible!! Such detail. All I can think of is “how LONG did this take to draw”
Thank you, Pat! About three hours. I work pretty quickly when I do these pen and ink drawings.
Amazing, love the detail and the story it tells
Many thanks, Brenda!
Great work!
Thank you, Fatima!
What an awesome idea, and so well executed. I can’t believe you completed it in such a short amount of time. Beautiful!
Many thanks! I’ve been doing this kind of art for as long as I can remember (and I can remember back a looooooong time). It becomes second nature after a while.
All I can say is wow..fabulous!
Thank you, Priscilla!
