Did you know the four setter breeds of dog, the Gordon setter, the Irish setter, the Irish red & white setter, and the English setter were all developed from the medieval setting spaniel, which was trained to point out birds, then lie down so a net could be cast over both birds and dog? The Gordon setter is the largest and heaviest of the four.

Awesome painting , Sandra. And so recognizable. I always have to give our dog a little bit of my icecream. Those eyes look at me so begging, i just cann’t resist. .
