Did you know Dalmatians were used as ‘coaching’ dogs, trained to run along side coaches and help move the crowds out of the way? That’s why they were chosen to be firehouse dogs when firetrucks were still pulled by horses.
I had only done my first layer for this painting, but I decided I like it so I just sharpened up the eye and nose, and called it done.
