This is so wonderful!!!Love the way he is coming up through the water. Is the texture from the lid or is it a magical technique? It is beautiful!!!
Thank you, Mary! I covered the lid with Daniel Smith Watercolor ground and the texture comes from that. I don’t know if you saw the other tin I did -https://doodlewash.com/forums/topic/diy-travel-palettes/page/17/#post-131854 I go into the whole conversion to travel palette thing.
Thanks, Sandra. I did see the other post but don’t remember the texture. Turtles are a big thing here on the West Coast of Florida. We have a very active group keeping an eye on our nesting turtles and it’s always a joyous moment when they hatch and find their way back to the Gulf.
I can imagine how thrilling it would be, watching them.
