Shells – A bit late, but the technique took even more time than I expected. I was splattering masking fluid in between washes of Quin Gold, Burnt Sienna and Phthalo Blue, and had to wait for things to dry between each step. Sandra, the shells really look like they’re on the bottom of the sea! Is the sandy texture from the paper surface that you used?
Thank you, Kathy! Yes, the William Turner paper has great texture. I also used Lunar Blue (which I forgot when I listed the colors) and it is highly granulating.
