Great work! Range of violets, height lights are also cool.
Thank you! I really like sheep so this was fun.
oh I LOVE your use of the purple! Is this a quin like quin magenta and quin purple? He’s an adorable sheep, you did the fur beautifully!
Thank you! The purple is a mix of Quin Magenta and Wisteria by Daniel Smith. Wisteria is one of the limited edition colors they put out earlier this year, and it’s lovely!
Hmmm, I had wondered about wisteria when I saw it. You did a spectacular job with it, I love the choice to use purples for the shadows. Is wisteria transparent?
Fantastic job on this sheep. The colors are great, and the texture of the wool is too.
Thank you! This was one of my more successful uses of masking fluid. It just set off the texture of the wool.
Nice job capturing this fluffy sheep!
Thank you!
Jennifer, I don’t see a reply button on your comment, but in response, ‘no’. Wisteria isn’t totally opaque, but I wouldn’t call it transparent. I’ll probably use it mostly for background, shadow or small touches because of that, but it is a beautiful color.
