My first bunny Harley. He was a Japanese Harlequin rabbit. They are not supposed to be flop eared so somewhere at some time some one fooled around. 😉 litter trained and with free run of the house at the time. 20180403_223752

You’re right more than you know. Actually, he was a Japanese Harlequin rabbit. They alternate the light and dark fur starting with the face and continuing along the legs and torso. However, they are supposed to have upright ears, whereas ours was a lop ear. Something tells me there was a little extra hanky panky going on there somewhere in his ancestry. : )
I think you might find that in any ancestry!!!!
