Ya, not many stars visable above L.A.! Best places I’ve seen for stars were on a cruise in the middle of the South Pacific, Arizona desert, New Mexico near the Colorado border. and in the High Sierras. It’s amazing how many are out there.
I love how thoughtful you are with respect to your mom! In fact, you can tell a lot about a man by how he treats his mother. I’m lucky to have thoughtful kids, too. I’d like a piece of that juicy watermelon.
I love the hues on the glass. We don’t have lightning bugs in So Cal. In fact I had never seen one until I was an adult on a bus in Alexandria, VA. Suddenly I saw what I thought was some electrical malfunction, and I screamed! People said “It’s just lightning bugs. You must not be from around here.” They did look pretty magical.
