#WorldWatercolorGroup Doodlewash Group....the colours of the leaves just turning and the last of the blackberries gave me the kick that I needed to get back into watercolour painting. I was very nervous when picking up the brush, after spending a lot of time with coloured pencils, I am pleased that I have now back into the world of watercolours. I did add a little help of pencil to the blackberries AUTUMN FRUITS

#WorldWatercolorGroup At long last I have finished all I can do with my Buildings in the Landscape course. not sure that I am very happy with them all, but they are supposed to be just sketches, so I might get away with it, the paper has buckled, so I am glad I used watercolour pencils instead of paint. Here is the last and main painting , idea taken from an old painting OLD CHINESE DWELLING

I started this as an exercise for my art group just before Christmas. since February I haven\'t wanted to draw or paint anything. bu I found him a few days ago and decided it was time to finish him. I have done the cats head and shoulders and decided I would make a pigs ear of it if I put the body to him. my mind told me he should be in something, so that was it, a box , a very small box! HOW DO I GET OUT??

Another drawing from my imagination and I think I should call it \" Frosted Leaves\". done with a white chalk pencil on black sketch paper. it is really lovely to be able to put pencil to paper without any pain with a freedom of thought and without any ideas of where the painting finishes, I can recommend it to everyone. World Watercolor Group™ This little pup Muffin is the start of a drawing which I will get some of my students to have a go at, using a ruler as a measure to get the right angles and details, but it will be quite a while yet before this happens. Sorry I haven\'t been around to give any comments, but with my right hand is a little painful because of Trigger finger, I find it difficult to hold anything. but the good news for me is the finance has at last come through and I have a date of Feb 7th for the op. then the fun will really start as Roger, my husband, is taking over the classes to give lessons on perspectives it should be very interesting MUFFIN 1
