Working on a card for a dear friend who recently had surgery. Not sure if I’m done or not.

When you combine new paints, nature, and gray-toned paper, this is the result. The paints are the ‘Classics’, a basic set from Prima_Marketing and the toned paper is from Stillman&birn and the crab apples hang on a tree.
‘these aren’t crab apples
they’re happy little apples
growing big and strong’
This is my ‘crazy daisy’ aka as Rudbeckia. It was just starting to open up and the petals were twisted in all different directions.
‘this way and that way
yellow petals twist and turn
striving for beauty’
The more I use this gray-toned paper, the more I like it. It helps to have the right subject 🤗 something bright.
This is a weed I found growing near the lake, have no idea what it is called but I liked it.
‘nestled among rocks
growing tall with white flowers
a beautiful weed’ 57478AC6-9EA8-45AA-A598-7CF1E446B19A
Still playing in my Stillman&birn gray-toned sketchbook. This time it’s a zentangle with ink and Prima Marketing ‘Pastel Dreams’ watercolors.

Love this, Teri! I’ve been doing this kind of geometric doodle for years and love doing them. They usually happen while I’m on the phone or at a meeting and feel trapped in my chair. Yours is art and lovely!!
