Yeah I don’t like that the texture of the pencil stroke doesn’t completely disappear, but the more successful areas had a lot of layers of pencil with different colors mixed with intersecting hatching strokes rather than layered on top if that makes sense. They’re a good option for the Midori paper which is too smooth and thin for actual watercolors I think, or for water layers.
