A watercolor of a mess on my desk, with a little \"Torito de Pucará\" (little bull of Pucara) 16x25cm, on 300 gr. Hahnemüle paper Pucara Bulls are traditional small handmade pieces of art from Puno and Cusco (Peru). They come in pairs and according to the tradition they are put with flowers on the top of the roof (what is still a custom in the southern highlands) although they are bought as souvenirs. They are a symbol of fertility and the protectors of home and family. I found this one whithout his couple in a street marquet in Cusco. Nowadays they are made with vibrant colors so this one may be an antiquity, because until some decades ago they use to be made with the natural clay color and glazed in some parts, what i prefer.
