In the absence of endangered species legislation in British Columbia (Canada), the provincial and federal governments have announced a new ‘nature agreement’ that includes pilot projects to protect at-risk species. Wow, your owl is spectacular, Victoria! I’m glad that people are starting to take action without waiting for the politicians to take care of it.
Thank you Sandra. The update on this is that environmental groups had to take the province to court for not living up to their guidelines and about the lack of transparency on where the province of BC is in achieving the environmental goals.
