@sandra-strait I’m very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the video, Sandra. I wouldn’t recommend trading off Chinese (and Japanese) watercolour brushes, which are really powerful. I use them a lot in my process, especially when painting large 🙂

It is a bit tricky to find the appropriate positions for the elements involved in the drawing process, i.e. a camera, a sketch book and a drawing subject. Thank you for the information. I’ll have to look into Scarlet Red since that’s the only one on your list that I don’t own. I love the reds in your painting, though I imagine part of it is the blue you’ve used around it.
