Wow! These are amazing. You do the best rabbits.
Thank you Sandra. There’s more to come 🙂
Very nice,…wonderful bunnies…
Thank you very much, Pamela. I paint rabbits every time I have no idea what to paint, haha 🙂
Bring them on,you could do a portfolio of rabbits….
Pamela, a portfolio of rabbits is certainly a good idea. Thanks 🙂
Wonderful, Violeta!
Thank you, Mary 🙂
You have such a wonderful way with rabbits! Love how they are so pettable looking.
Thank you, Shar. Real magic here is definitely connected with the paper, which is Hahnemühle cold pressed. I cannot achieve the same effects when painting on Arches or Fabriano, e.g. my rabbits on Arches are very soft, while Hahnemühle creates beautiful rich textures.
Interesting! I have yet to try Hahnemühle paper; the best I have used so far is Arches. I have Fabriano studio paper in both cold and hot press. So far, have been painting portraits on Arches cold press. Am going to try hot pressed for the next portrait; but don’t have it in Arches.
Shar, do not get me wrong, please! Arches is the state-of-the-art, fantastic paper! Every brand paper creates different sort of visual effects and textures, and in the painting above (Two Hares), you can see how it may turn on Hahnemühle paper 🙂
That’s what I have read. Looking forward to trying hot vs cold press. I am getting so much into painting that eventually I will be trying different papers.
