Under Construction

Day 20 - #WorldWatercolorGroup - Under Construction - Wrench - #doodlewash

After spending a good part of the afternoon trying to fix little bugs on my new website, I barely had time to answer today’s prompt of “metallic.” I figured a wrench would pretty much describe things accurately and so I dashed one off quickly for this post. An odd and not particularly engaging image to be sure, but it’s metal at least and accurately describes my day. Things are coming along with the new site, but tonight I’m exhausted and it’s time to just sit back and relax. I, of course, wanted to pop in long enough to show up with a doodlewash and say hello! And though I did sneak in my tiny bit of time to paint, I’m going to keep my post today uncharacteristically short. I hope each of you are enjoying a fabulous weekend doing something you absolutely love! For me, I’ve found that when life gets this crazy busy and complex, it’s good to take a little step back from things for a moment. It’s not that everything isn’t going to work out beautifully in the end, it’s just that sometimes, even dreams, can find themselves under construction.

I know I left you a message yesterday about how your wrench has a sweet face and is smiling at you. But it disappeared in the internet ether. sigh….

Yeah, it’s probably fitting under a post titled Under Construction! Lol 😃💕 And I love that… it is smiling at me… I can see it… I like it now. Thanks!
