This month we’re celebrating all the fun things to do and experience outdoors! This Doodlewash challenge is once again open to anyone who wants to participate with watercolor painting and simply pencil or pen & ink sketches as well!* Yes, bring us your doodles, your wash or a lovely combination of both. If you’re participating in the June Art Challenge use the hashtag #doodlewashJune2018 when you post on all your social networks, and if you also use lovely watercolor add the #WorldWatercolorGroup hashtag as well so we can find you and link to your lovely watercolors in real time!
Join us all month long or simply jump in whenever you like! It’s a great month to practice and explore new techniques with watercolor as we prepare for the annual ultimate of challenge of 31 watercolors in 31 days when World Watercolor Month returns in July!

JUNE ART CHALLENGE – Outdoor Fun!
This month, it’s time to head outdoors and explore all of the fun things we can find there! Whether it’s a stroll through the park or spending time by the pool and enjoying a sip of your favorite cold drink, there’s always something new and wonderful to discover outside. Share what you love most about the outdoors with all of us this month! It’s a wonderful time to try a bit of plein air painting or urban sketching as well! Even if the summer months aren’t quite as warm where you are, June is a great warm-up for World Watercolor Month in July!
